Chicano Rap i think its kind of big in the Music Industry The reason is you got all lil wanna b's out there trying to be hard bumping that music And i see L.A gangs are spreading all over the U.S like roaches and all L.A gangs listen it to Chicano Rap so obviously all these lil gangbangers are gonna buy Chicano Rap Cd's

but it's not gonna be big, not these guys. Kid Frost and A Lighter Shade of Brown were pretty big a few years back, actually about 10 years ago. And seriously these guys aeren't really doing anything new.
I haven't heard all of Akwid's stuff, but I hope they aren't quiting their day job, i'm sure they'll get a following just cuz it's new, and people will be curious, but i doubt they'll be around 3-4 years down the road, if they are, just floating in the dark waters. The sample i got to hear, their voice heavily clashes with the banda sound. they need to find a better why to integrate the two.
is it chicano rap because chicanos sing it, or because the content relates to chicanos?------------------------------------------------------------
